North County Tavern and Bowl Grand Opening

by Lauren

Thanks to the girls at McFarlane Promotions, Chrissy and I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening party of North County Tavern and Bowl

Free drinks? Free appetizers? Yes please!

They have developed a restaurant, bar and bowling alley all in one. The catch: no deep fried, greasy bowling alley food is served here. Only tasty items such as calamari, blue cheese wedge salads, 6 different burgers, three cheese baked macaroni and cheese, and much much more!

We assumed this would be a fun and delicious outing but what we didn’t know was that we would get a behind the scenes look at the kitchen and the bowling alley via the executive chef, Christos. He was an awesome tour guide and I must say the highlight was seeing how a bowling alley works.

It’s your lucky day because I took a picture and now you get to check it out too!

For some reason I always pictured little bowling pin minions that took care of everything but this machine shattered those dreams…

Chrissy double fisted beers.

Kidding, we aren’t that hardcore. One for me, one for her.

We did eat some darn tasty food though!

Seared ahi. This one was my favorite! It is a new addition to their menu and I think it should stick around because it was mighty tasty.

These were really, really ridiculously tasty cupcakes from Cupcake Love.

Looking back on this night made me realize that people were probably amazed at the amount of food we put down. We really loaded up on the goodies and definitely plan to go back!

If you live in or around San Diego, check out the new location in Escondido! It’s much bigger than the other locations and the atmosphere, food and service was great. Not to mention you can bowl, eat and drink all in one place. Awesome.

*Pst, this was not a compensated post, we just had a great time at this event and wanted to share it with you!
