Open-Face Tomato Sandwich {with creamy feta spread}

by Lauren

I’m still thinking about Italian tomatoes. I could eat them all day, every day…and I did for 2 weeks.

The tomatoes in Italy are so flavorful and sweet that even the seemingly unripe, green-ish tomatoes are better than any tomato I’ve had in America. Their tomatoes taste how a tomato should taste yet that flavor is still beyond your imagination unless you’ve had one.

Gluten-Free Quinoa Meatless Meatballs {with Marinara}

by Chrissy

Holy Heatwave! Southern California is absolutely nuts with this dry heat and crazy winds. Now that I am recently self-employed I have been spending my first week of freedom melting in my house. Rain or not, I will say that I’m extremely excited for the new in-season fruits and vegetables. Asparagus has been ridiculously expensive so I’m happy to see that price drop. I was also loaded up with greens last … Read more...

by Lauren

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! I hope you have your corned beef slow cooking away preparing itself for tonight’s feast.

Another classic for this holiday is that fantastic Irish Soda Bread. My mother-in-law handed me half of a loaf of her infamous version of the recipe as we left her house this weekend. She loads hers up with not only raisins but caraway seeds!

If you have a surplus of Irish Soda Bread, I have a solution. Here’s a way to … Read more...
