Roasted Turkey, Brie & Apple Butter Wrap

by Chrissy

Turkey Apple Brie Wrap_LYK4

For Mother’s Day weekend, although I wasn’t able to be with my Momma, I know she would have loved these tasty wraps. The smokey roasted turkey, and the sweet and tangy spiced apple butter spread remind me a little bit like the holidays and cooking in the kitchen together. The creamy brie and the crisp apple are the perfect fillings.

I guess with a handy-man comes and endless supply of painting projects. While he builds all of these things, someone has to make them look presentable for our new place.

Smoked Gouda & Apple Turkey Burgers (and a camping trip)

by Lauren

IMG_2290Chris and I went camping this weekend in Anza Borrego with his parents and friends. It was just one night but we managed to sneak in an awesome hike!

We saw a papa and a baby sheep roaming around. They pranced down the rocky ridge and came right towards us!IMG_2305

At the end of the trail was a gorgeous palm oasis. We sat there basking in the sun and enjoying the view.
