Roasted Turkey, Brie & Apple Butter Wrap

by Chrissy

Turkey Apple Brie Wrap_LYK4

For Mother’s Day weekend, although I wasn’t able to be with my Momma, I know she would have loved these tasty wraps. The smokey roasted turkey, and the sweet and tangy spiced apple butter spread remind me a little bit like the holidays and cooking in the kitchen together. The creamy brie and the crisp apple are the perfect fillings.

Assorted Greens & Feta Tart {with crispy olive oil crust}

by Lauren

Spring has sprung! And it’s gloomy, drizzling, and cold in San Diego. Cold is of course relative at 63 degrees but either way, the last few weeks of winter were spent laying on the beach so Spring has yet to impress me.

Rain or not, I will say that I’m extremely excited for the new in-season fruits and vegetables. Asparagus has been ridiculously expensive so I’m happy to see that price drop. I was also loaded up with greens last … Read more...

Broccoli & Spinach Pesto {Vegan option}

If I ever opened a restaurant, it would only serve breakfast. Mayyybe lunch, if the world demands it.

But honestly, it’s just my favorite meal of the day. I love that it’s something you can get really creative with. There are so many sweet and savory options. Also, you can eat it for any meal without it being weird. You just can’t have dinner for breakfast…pasta in the morning? Gross. You’ll regret that one later.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi & Roasted Butternut Squash

by Chrissy

News flash: I actually felt a little chilly sleeping with the fan next to my face, last night. It looks like San Diego might just be giving into the arrival of Fall. Although it was still perfect beach weather, I thought I’d steal this opportunity to make a lovely Autumn dish.

My brother, Mike, was staying with me for the weekend so it was the perfect time to go all Fall “gourmet”. Him and I have the same love … Read more...
