Breakfast Cookies {with banana, coconut, chocolate and more!}

Some of my favorite memories of Christmas morning or other family gatherings, start with a sweet scent wafting out of the kitchen, down the hall, and into my bedroom, to gently alert me that it’s time to get up.

This is the only alarm that I wake up to, on the first time.

Baked Oatmeal Bars {with Dried Fruits and Seeds}

Lauren and I love to start our mornings with a hearty bowl of oatmeal.

And when we say oatmeal, we mean the real deal— made with rolled-oats, fruit, homemade almond milk, chia seeds, and a dash of cinnamon–not the Quaker oatmeal packets of sugary mush, stuff.

At this point, I don’t even think I could stomach one of those.

Fresh Apricot Blueberry Drop Scones
