Mango, Banana & Almond Butter Smoothie

I spent all weekend out in the beautiful sunshine. I think the only times that I came inside was to eat a real meal and to sleep.

Between surfing down at my favorite long boarder’s spot and biking down the boardwalk several miles in an attempt to avoid jammed up parking lots, so I could play beach volleyball, there was barely time for anything else.

For a weekend trip, my boyfriend, Rob, and I ventured up the California coast for a surf safari/camping trip.

It’s a Beach Day!

Since Lauren went home for the weekend, I was left to fend for myself for the next few days. Normally this entails, sleeping in, cruising down the boardwalk on my bike, surfing, and eating mass quantities of snacky foods, rather than a real meal.  I could have been a productive food blogger and cooked a fancy meal to post, but I think you will forgive me when you see what was my main distraction: a beautiful beach day!
