Happy happy Monday, Friends!

I don’t know about you, but I’m finding it a little hard to get into Fall…

I know it’s October, but I’d just like to savor these warm, summer-like days. It was 90 degrees yesterday, people. 90!

I am not ready to embrace the boots or let myself splurge on the pumpkin. I mean, I’ll eat any and every pumpkin thing that comes my way, don’t get me wrong, but I’m just not ready to bake … Read more...

Individual NY Cheesecakes {with Black Cherry Topping}

by Chrissy

NY Cheesecake w Cherry Topping_LYK4

Before this, I hadn’t really ventured into the cheesecake realm, but after I pulled this little stunt for a New York themed party, I think I’ll be dabbling with various homemade cheesecake recipes, in the near future.

They are just delectable morsels of goodness and really quite simple to make.

by Lauren

I love lima beans. They remind me of my dad because lima beans and peas are about the only “vegetables” he will get close to. The guy wouldn’t touch kale with a 10 foot pole. I still remember eating a bowl of lima beans and spaghetti as a kid when mom was out and left dad in charge of cooking for us.

Peach Streusel Muffins

by Chrissy

Peach Streusel Muffins_LYK4

Peach cobbler baked into a muffin, that’s what these muffins are like. Super tasty, moist in the center with slightly crispy topping, these muffins are the way to go.
Peach Streusel Muffins_LYK2

If you didn’t know this already, I have a peach addiction, and these muffins help curb the withdrawals. In the summer, if I don’t have my daily peach/nectarine, I might go into beast mode.

I blame this condition on the fact that I grew up with a lovely peach tree in … Read more...
