Mushroom & Spinach Breakfast Sandwich

by Chrissy

Mushroom Spinach Breakfast Sandwich_LYK1

There are some days that require a good, hearty meal to kick things off before the insanity ensues.

Although I’ve never gone wedding dress shopping for myself, I have done multiple rounds of bridesmaid dress shopping. I don’t know which one is more draining.

If you are still harboring relatives … Read more...

by Chrissy

I’m sure many of us have fond memories with Pop Tarts, back when we were kids….or teenagers…or perhaps freshman year of college. No shame.

I remember for my soccer tournaments, I would keep a pack of Pop Tarts in my bag for sustenance; the S’mores flavor was always the best, but strawberry was a closer runner up. So, I kept that in mind when I whipped these guys up from scratch.

They are really easy to make, but they … Read more...

Healthy Cranberry & Flaxseed Banana Bread

by Chrissy

Although it’s not even December, Christmas seems to be in full effect. Don’t even get me started on the Christmas music playing on the radio weeks before Thanksgiving. In my opinion, everyone just needs to calm down.

With the holiday season kicking in to high gear, and those eager shoppers securing their gift items for friends, families, neighbors and co-workers, this bread recipe is something that you can thank me for, later.

Give the gift of food. Not just … Read more...
